Age Calculator: Determine Age from Birth Year

Alternatively, you can make your own age calculator in Excel by using the AGE() function, which is available in all versions of Microsoft Excel. This is a little bit more complicated, because it requires that you know the day and year of a person’s birthday, which might be difficult to obtain for some people. The AGE() function will work for any date in the future or past, so you can use it to figure out how old you will be on any future date. This method is more accurate than the DATEDIF method, but it will require you to know the exact date of a person’s birth. It will also take longer to run, because it will need to perform a series of complex mathematical operations.
