New City Maintenance, which also operates under the name Olympic Maintenance, is located in Congers, New York. The company primarily operates in the Warm Air Heating and Air Conditioning Contractor business / industry within the Construction – Special Trade Contractors sector. The first step of this effort is to identify the most cost-effective location for a Public Works maintenance facility. The City has looked at various locations to meet this need, but the most cost-effective option is the North Maintenance Facility (NMF) site located by Brugger’s Bog Park. This site allows us to use existing operating and storage space for the most efficient operation. It also allows for fewer impacts to the trees at Hamlin Yard, a much-needed buffer with the Fircrest Residential Habilitation Center property.

During a construction project, contractors must keep areas around their construction sites free of debris, dirt and dust. These areas may include streets, lawns, landscaping, driveways and adjacent buildings or homes. To protect these areas, the contractor may put up barriers and barricades to restrict access to the work area. The contractor must notify adjacent residents and businesses and provide a temporary alternate route when necessary.
